Country of Origin Labels: Include it in your own label

New Government regulations regarding “COUNTRY OF ORIGIN FOOD LABELLING LAWS”, state that from the 1st July 2016, food sold in Australia in retail stores can have these new labels. These are not mandatory until the 1st July 2018, but you can already start designing and applying your new food labels.

There are different labels depending on where the food was grown, produced, made or packaged. The CoOL online tool, available at business.gov.au/foodlabels, will help you identify the appropriate label for your food product.

There are two types of these new country of origin labels and samples are below. We can help with artwork and printing of these labels if required.
